I like the novels. They toe the line between teen and straight adult. It's content is of course for younger people, fans of the show who also read at libraries, ect. But the tone of them sometimes veers so hard into being an adult political drama it takes a page of 5th grade reading wordplay to remind you that it is for, generally, children

I have yet to read them all, but I had fun with Covenant. Megatronus and Solus were not a relationship I expected, neither was the absolute ride that was the final chapter that glazed over their trip across the galaxy.
