That was kind of my league experience too but not really, I played it for a bit on my own during 2013-2014 or something. Preferred playing other things (hearthstone) and then mates picked it up and I started playing it with em.
What I will say is that not in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine picking up fighting games. If someone asked me 15 years ago what i thought id be playing now I would have never in my fucking life said Street Fighter.
But then again I didnt have a functioning internet connection during those days.
