It's a big issue within the community lately that nobody seems to want to talk about. The longer we go without any news hopefully more people will call them out on it. Obviously their teasing was originally done on the assumption Missing-Link would release this year but now it's cancelled we know they're holding onto info and they're all too cowardly to share anything for fear of getting on Square's bad side or whatever because they think ML is getting magically remade in record time. Even if that's turns out to be the case it'll be ages before we get that, probably not until after 4.
Again it really just feels like they're doing it because they like to feel superior and I can't think of many fandoms where this would fly and the leaks would remain secret. I really hope somebody goes rogue and shares this shit to knock these people off their high horses. I'm sure another whiny social media post saying "think about the devs" would be inbound.
