Bro this is nowhere schizo level.
From what you have described such livingsuit is either one of two things:
- Inanimate object with a contiousenes/ soul tied to it
- A cartoon logic character that just got deflated.
In case one, damage to the object does not kill it unless total destruction is achieved or disrepaired skin is attempted to be turned back into a living creature.
In case two, as I said cartoon logic applies. Character can die if the writer wants it or they may be blown into 1000 pieces and put back together without an issue.
