Hello,

Former/OotL Yugioh player here. I recently played the prerelease event with my friends and despite literally learning the basic rules and stuff a few days before, I find a combo of the art, the gameplay, and just overall vibe of MTG to have more "value" compared to whatever Konami is doing. I know that everything is inflated due to hype and people like myself getting into Magic for the first time, so I'm unsure if/what/where I should put real money down for a deck or something. It doesn't have to be Final Fantasy related, but would be nice. For what I've seen is people making decks but for Arena Bo1 when something like Standard seems appealing to me. What I would like to know is for you people who have had some experience with YGO if there's some deck out there similar to like a Hero Beat or even control-oriented Sky Striker deck. Thanks for reading, when I get paid I'll probably go to draft with my friends.
