>Yet theyre still growing and I highly respect the mormons for that
They’re not, actually. Their population size in the US has remained roughly unchanged over the last few decades despite their turbo birth rate and the growth of the US population itself. If anything, American Mormons are stagnating. Neither growing nor declining.
>They have high birthrates compared to subhuman redditor r/childfree atheists who dont have any kids or your average novus ordo suburban catholic who only has 2 kids and treats NFT as a de facto form of birth control.
Doesn’t matter because something like 40%-60% of children raised Mormon will grow up to no longer associate themselves with Mormonism in adulthood. Mormons lose about half of their children to apostasy, and that’s not even including the ones that still identify as Mormon but don’t really practice it nor attend nor care. Mormons would need like an 8.5 birth rate to actually grow in the US.
>Having their weird religious rules is actually a good thing in the long run since it weeds out the lazy NPC normies who live for nothing higher than themselves.
You’re really overplaying how much Mormonism requires of adherents. They can’t drink coffee (arguable) and can’t drink alcohol (many break this anyways). They have to wear weird undergarments (kinda), and they may recommend you go on a mission (like 2 years of traveling post-highschool). Mormonism is not some hardcore, strict religion as you’re making it out to be.
>1000 years from now, the US will probably have collapsed and all the “rationalist” atheists will have gone extinct because they didnt have kids while the mormons will still probably be around.
It’s highly unlikely Mormonism will even outlast the USA. Might not even last another century. Their message is completely breaking down amongst Western youth. Mormonism is fastest growing in West Africa, aka people too retarded to question it.

>Yes, it does.
No, it doesn’t
>As regards children who have died without Baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God… the great mercy of God… allows us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who have died without Baptism
“We hope they go to heaven.” AKA: We have no fucking idea.

The current Catholic doctrine on the matter is “I dunno, maybe.”
