alteration magic
The initial fall damage is what causes the ragdoll so it only does more if you continue falling after that point which isn't uncommon
however the ragdoll being a ragdoll does look more painful than it mechanically manages
I'm not even sure how the game calculates damage from falling while ragdolled because NPCs seem pretty good at not dying from some heights but can also take more damage than expected if they fall in a river and drift away
The threshold for the player tends to be either dying entirely or taking no real damage from falls

I tried a race mod where everyone had seemingly meaningful active racials and it was a bit much, is it that annoying with the vanilla ones? High Elves seem like they'd be about the same as normal NPC mages but also it would be good if it wasn't a 100% activation chance on everyone to abstract the fact that they may have already used it today
