I fully agree with that. LLMs do an okay job between closely related languages, like Swedish and English, but even then I still see major fuck ups pretty regularly in machine translated text. For JP -> EN it really is godawful and all these people complaining about translations really just should sit their asses down and study moon runes. If they spent half as much energy on that they would soon be experts.
