Day 2.

I ventured into the shadowy depths of Mt. Moon and caught myself a Zubat, training him as we pressed forward through the cavern's twists and turns. Along the way, I claimed a Helix Fossil—perhaps a sign of hope for the future. Once I emerged into daylight, I caught an Ekans and made my way into Cerulean City. Feeling confident, I headed north to the famed Nugget Bridge. But that’s when fate struck. My rival, Twat, challenged me—and this would mark the end of my Kanto journey. I’d taught Mankey Rock Tomb to counter his Pidgeotto, but the bird struck first, bringing Mankey down. I managed to take out some of his team, but his Squirtle became a merciless executioner—defeating Zubat, Ratatta, Pidgey, Butterfree, and Spearow one after another. With all my Pokémon gone, I was forced to abandon my dream and flee Kanto. My adventure had come to a bitter end... or so it seemed. I’ve since made it to Johto, where a new journey awaits. As for Ekans—he wasn’t with me during the battle. Left behind, he slithered back into the wild, free but forgotten.
