I believe these psychotic Yanks are victims. Just like the pleb soldiers of the Confederate Army who were drafted by the Plantation Elite (and subsequently 1/10 of southern men died in that war), modern underclass Americans are subject to a barrage of indoctrination and propaganda from corporate oligarchs who desire to keep them like this in order to secure the elite's wealth and power in society. It's not a coincidence that these psycho yankoids are most commonly found in former Confederate states as well, while places like Massachusetts or whatnot have always been more civilised and intellectually advanced
