Shit like Imperm columns should be allowed to be tracked in paper play.
The fact simulators like Master Duel are allowed to keep track of and list lingering effects and have special effects for their resolution, meanwhile if you write "imperm middle column" on a piece of paper you get crucified, is fucked.
Konami could even take it as a money-grabbing opportunity. Add dumb little spare cards to packs like the Tip cards of the past, give out reminder cards and shit.
Just a card that says
>This card can be used to remind you of the column in which an Infinite Impermanence has been activated while Set. Spell/Trap effects in this column are negated.
In fact now that I am thinking about it, the fact that accessories are so scarce is genuinely weird. Why aren't Tokens just inserted into packs? Why do we have to sit around HOPE that a Token generator we have one day gets a Token rather than the more logical "Print Token Generator -> Print Token in the same set". Same goes for those Counter cards the OCG have, or the Turn reminders, or even just shoving in Field Centers.
Doesn't seem like it would be that much more effort to print and slide in a card into each pack
