I wouldn't consider it too rare necessarily unless you need to have new.
I got mine for 500 with 7 mags only a couple years ago on gunbroker, and they seem to be going for similar price right now with the standard factory setup.
I really like it, and they must have just released the px4 storm in .45acp just recently so I'm salivating a bit.
