If they didn't try appealing to the lowest common denominator (Genshin players, Arknights players, and HSR newfags) who detest the very existence of galge and the culture surrounding it, we wouldn't be in this situation right now. Part 1 devs understood this assignment up to a certain point. Part 2 devs clearly didn't. I am cautiously optimistic that things will start to change for the better after Helia's arc but there is still room for fuck-ups.
