The photographer who took those photos was the first and only woman ever awarded a combat jump star (technically as just an "honorary" award, since she was a civilian journalist) for participating in Operation Junction City in 1967. She was so tiny that they had to weigh her down with ballast so she wouldn't get blown away by the wind.
