However, I also feel like the show is a serious image related. Machu's motivations suck, and make her the worst kind of spoiled brat. Seriously she's complaining about feeling stifled in what's effectively one of the best places to live in the entire Earth Sphere. It's an anime version of the first world problems hashtag. I don't even feel like she really grew through the show. She still just wants to chase excitement (shuuji). The clan battles at the beginning really didn't contribute anything. The real story of the show feels like it should have just been around Char, Bull, and Kycillia. The were the ones doing stuff that mattered until Lalah, the plot device not character came into focus. The suddenly the kids and the power of nostalgia have to solve every thing. I feel like if the show had more time, we could have gotten more out of all the characters in it and the plot , but starting the real plot with the the psychogundam attack was too late.
