Louis had hope once. Once. Older than average for a magical teen, well in his adult years, he decided that victory was impossible. Years of corporate atrocities and losing teammates haunt him. He sees every magical girl and boy younger than him as just more fodder that will inevitably die within the next 5 years unless they're lucky, and he hates it. Former Old Guard and lone survivor of his closest friends after they were wiped out in a fight, he basically cut himself off from the rest of the veterans and engrossed himself in comparatively small-time work. Mostly focuses on his high-ranking corporate position and tries to help with what the younger or generally weaker magical fighters have trouble with, if he can. Acts as a support-type backliner who tries to look after everyone and gives intel and buffs.
Carries a lot of resentment towards the strongest of his kind like the Myrmidons and the Goddesses, thinks the former aren't doing enough to prevent the younger members from dying and thinks the latter are to blame for setting them up for this garbage in the first place. Ultimately believes that the Dark can at most be slowed, and has essentially already won. They're just going through the motions.
