Raider (so much health you cannot die and free staggers for days)

Wylder (great health and ult utility you can burst the nightlord down)
Executor (It's way easier to parry solo)

Ironeye
Revenant
Duchess (all of these are squishy even with good mobility and summons. Much thinner margin for error compared to tankier characters.)

Recluse (playing solo is hard to manage her fp regen mechanic. Leveling is a pain and you are squishy. Duchess is just the superior magic user solo)
Guardian (pathetic)

If you want to guaranteed beat a nightlord solo or in a group just play raider. Literally impossible to lose and braindead playstyle.
