Fact of the matter is men don't work hard to just survive. They work hard because that's what women expect from them. Women don't want to just survive. Women want to be fabulously wealthy and they expect men to work themselves to death to provide them with that.
The jobs are getting more fake and gay because women demand to be given fake jobs where they pretend to work for money, and they only want that because they think it will entitle them a man who makes even more than them.

Remove women from the equation and most men would be happy living in minimally furnished 1-bedroom apartments and enjoying hobbies with their friends. As long as women are around your half-baked idea is doomed to fail.
