Bro I'm gonna be honest, I see it through the glass, if your PSU comes with the kind of cable where wires are an exposed rainbow just before they go into the connector, you should probably avoid that kind of PSU.
It's not a 100% written in stone rule, but it's a good rule of thumb. There's a ton of shit you can cheap out on while building a PC, PSU is definitely not it.
The logic is simple. If the manufacturer isn't even willing to provide quality with the cheapest, easiest to see part - the wire, what are the chances they won't cut corners and get the cheapo shit on pricier internals that you can't easily inspect?
