I think deep down they know that. Have you noticed their angle of attack has shifted? They used to try and claim it was completely accurate to the games. Now they've started just shitting on the game characterizations in general. That's where all this "anti-wind" shit is coming from, I'm noticing a push against Sonic/Shadow/Silver's actual characterizations. These people like the comic writers' interpretations or even prefer it, or they're mandatefags who think that the comics would somehow flourish if Ian and Evan weren't being forced to write similarly to the games.
