Fates literally has dynamic terrain you can alter with your magic dragon god powers. Engage has ice tiles that you can slide around on at sonic speed, fire tiles that halt movement and do damage, iceberg tiles that you can cast from a staff, poison-fog tiles that destroy your defenses and put enemy defenses on steroids.
It's clear that FE is always experimenting and doing cool shit with its terrain, but you're acting like it's just "10% avoid," "plus-one defense." Still waiting on those other SRPG maps btw.
