A continuation of the Pet AU. I apologize if the perspective is messy but I hope you enjoy!

It was a typical afternoon. Showtime was preparing a strawberry sundae, his owner is at work and was hoping to get to know Matsun more despite what he said last night. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t come out of his room ever since that night. He tried interacting with him this morning by knocking on his door to ask him if wants anything for breakfast but the only response he got was silence. He wasn’t sure if it was out of shame or if that was part of being grounded.
“Most likely the former.” He thought. As he was finishing his sundae off with chocolate sauce, he heard a cough behind him. It was Matsun.
Show offered him the sundae but
Matsun shook his head, and took a seat next to the kitchen island. He took a deep breath before he apologize about the harsh words he said that night. He explained to Show how he was jealous, after all he was more extroverted and willing to put himself out there compared to him. How can he “compete” with that?

Showtime smiled and comforted Matsun, he told him how he ended up in the human pet center and appreciated the compliment about his personality but Show also said Matsun is just as great like he is.
I mean, why would his owner be so nice to him if she didn’t like his personality? He stated.

He understands his jealousy but he hopes that they can get along better for now on. As both of them hugged, they decided to work together on a meal for dinner to surprise their owner while also getting to know each other more. Both of them found out they like strawberry ice cream and enjoy drawing in their spare time though Show praises Matsun for taking his art more seriously compared to him.

When I got home, I smiled as I see them drawing on the table along with a plate full of gyoza in the center all while telling jokes to each other.
“I think they’re going to get along just fine.” I thought
