Okay this sort of reminded me of how I imagined this single distinct group/race of people. It’s good for like inspiration, a mood board.

I was kind of thinking that like they would possess certain traits and aspects that make them sort of like this idealized group of people. But I was thinking maybe it would be better to leave them more mysterious and not go into too much detail because that’s usually how it is in my heckin Japanese manga.

Avatar is one of the few fictional representations of this like idealized race (or in this case aliens) of beings, that are kind of tribal, not highly technologically advanced. It’s one of the only depictions of that, so it’s interesting how it’s not done very often.

It’s just difficult because I think it’s hard to beat the Israelites in ancient history, in a real world setting it would be difficult not to mistake them as basically being a representation of Israelites, black people and indigenous people.

But that’s why I thought about presenting them as this idealized race personifying idealized traits that aren’t found as clearly in reality which would set them apart. I guess you could also kind of focus and present characterization and traits that maybe would have existed, but are not really focused or shown very much in the media, and the experiences that go along with it and elaborate on that.

But basically they would sort of be like Elves, I kind of like that because it’s a little distinct and hasn’t been done, like I might make them live in trees too, I’m actually not really show how they should live like what kind of homes if they ever have houses.

Basically I imagined them as being predominately nomadic, travelling from place to place, they are really talented and skilled at taking care of nature and plant life, so much they can basically increase and bring out fertility in the land and bring vegetation and plant life to life
In other wise barren desolate places.
