I mean super science (when treated basically like magic) can be fun.
Like just a ray that can just do it because don't ask or for a reason that's exceedingly stupid like flips a persons G-Cells which means they're now the opposite gender. Like it just needs to be treated like a McGuffin rather than actually trying to make it make any sense.
