Russian Telegram channels report that a Russian Superjet-100 aircraft operated by Azimuth Airlines lost the right engine’s cowling during takeoff from Vnukovo Airport.

The flight, which was en route to Batumi, made an emergency return to the departure airport — a "blue" alert code was declared.

There are reports on Russian Telegram channels that in just the past week, at least seven Russian aircraft have either experienced in-flight malfunctions or were unable to depart due to technical issues.
