Are there any issues with using resort beaches for a fee? Can I just walk to the front desk and figure it out with the staff? Or should I stick with public beaches? I was in Turkey walking from public road to a beach through private property road (cause I couldn't find any public one nearby) and this angry asshole manager came running and yelling at me.

Any seawater pollution concerns around Mactan? Is seawater pollution basically caused by cheaping out on sewage treatment?
