Luocha was in the main story with the Dan "POV" segments, but his goals and even just his own perspective was never shown in the Luofu story. It took until Jingliu's story quest where she surrendered herself to Juan before we were told about the plan to kill Yaoshi. In the main story it only got a very short and vague cutscene at the very end, basically a "to be continued" hook. And now all the developments from that like what's inside the casket are getting off-screened.
