I know it might be my noobness, but I genuinely think FT2 ranked matches aren't meant for fighting games, especially for beginners. Everyone (including me) is always trying for cheap wins instead of evolving our playstyle over long sets. The semi-anonymity of the matchmaking also sucks, it's kinda like fighting against a formless void. I don't know anything about my opponent, I don't feel like I've improved or bested anyone. It's just all futile.
