At least half the point of Senran Kagura is the lighthearted ecchi, you dumb tripfag. Remove it and it's hardly a Senran game any more.

Ignore this dumb tripfag's advice; if you get Burst ReNewal, get it on PC (Steam), the PS4 version is censored.

Fuck off H-tard. People don't play or watch ecchi because they think it's a substitute for porn, they do so for the lighthearted, playful humor and eroticism. Despite what mentally compartmentalized retards may say, they are NOT the same.

Go ahead and tell me how something like Senran Kagura could be made today when all four major gaming storefronts have policies specifically forbidding its type of content.

It seems to have been quietly brushed under the rug that Stellar Blade was literally censored day 1, and it's nowhere near as provocative as Senran Kagura was even when it was first starting out, much less at its peak. Marvelous does not have near as much bargaining power as Shift Up (a major Korean corp) either, so Sony would walk all over them, just like they did back then. And Steam and Nintendo are no longer viable alternatives. Stellar Blade is also fundamentally different than something like Senran Kagura; it's merely an action game that happens to star a hot Asian chick that can dress in provocative outfits, whereas with Senran Kagura, the provocative ecchi and humor is the core of the appeal. The former is inherently more "acceptable" (to the faggots and harpies running the show at the corpos) than the latter.
TL;DR: No. The only way it will come back is if Sony, Nintendo and Steam are physically prevented from being able to impose censorship/restrictions on Japanese expression.
