this is the backstage entrance to thd legendary (absolutely amazing) FOX THEATER in Atlanta

Originally built as a freemason temple back in the 1920s, without the aid of digital technology, they somehow managed to construct an auditorium that happened to have THE PERFECT MATHEMATICAL ACOUSTICS

Like no shit... you can sit all the way in the back and hear a pin drop on stage

They somehow figured it out even back then, and it absolutely beautiful on the inside like amazingly elegant egyptian shit... the entire place is egyptian themed.. it's really cool...

that backstage entrance is where I walked into the Fox Theater dozens and dozens of times, getting in free, getting front row seats, eating the rock stars fruit and cheese trays, drinking their beers, and TALKING ABOUT ELVIS PRESLEY...

it was my shtick, my gimmick...
because I was there to 'celebrate' as in celebritize ELVIS and NOT THEM.... the rock stars found it refreshing, I suppose

night after night after night after night they deal with people praising them, "I really love your new song" etc etc even drawing pictures of the band, drawings of their new album cover...

but just was giving them an ELVIS PAINTING....

and what can I say?..... they ALL LOVED ELVIS....

they were.. as Tom Petty sang: "crazy bout Elvis"...

and they ALWAYS always wanted to go sit and talk, "hey I got an Elvis story i wanna tell you" and they'd tell me "man, Elvis is the reason I wanted to be famous"

ALL OF THEM SAID THAT.......

no shit.... it turns out my gimmick was much more than a gimmick TO THEM

because my Elvis paintings were badass
they were TRIPPY AND CLEVER...
custom made specifically for them
