The game's good and the rat's fun, but I'm beginning to lose my patience with floorhugging. While I don't inherently dislike removing the execution barrier, being able to floorhug while you're not actually actionable isn't good for the game. It encourages you to counter mashing with mashing. If all they did with the current patch is change it so you can't ASDI downward when you're in either startup or recovery frames, I'd feel a bit better about it. People would at least have to know frame data and predict options to get reversals off of floorhugging.

You can play like half the cast as a low IQ masher, but that doesn't mean it's the best way to play them. It's like people who play USF4 by doing nothing but pressing privileged buttons like Bison's standing roundhouse. Olympia's boring if you mash with her, but much more fun if you abuse her movement and DI mix-ups to do long strings.
