I never bonded with Naruto the same way I did with Goku. Keep in mind, Naruto had Hound Dog Rocks and Fighting Dreamers, and Namikaze Satellite to define him, but he never reaches the highs Goku does. I saw Goku go from kid to adult, student to teacher, and become a parent. His bond with Vegeta pays off in the last arc where Vegeta tells humans to fight.
