>tfw people who know Ireland as "tutorial island" in CK try to use it as tutorial island in EU

I wonder how it'll be in EU5. I grabbed picrel from an early stream, here are some tips for who's who;
>Munster
Ruled by the O'Brien dynasty, descendants of Brian Boru-the King who went from minor petty tribe ruler to High King of Ireland, unifying the islandand ending the Viking Age.
>Desmond
The FitzGeralds; these guys started off as Normans but like many Norman invaders/settlers, they were assimilated into Gaelic Irish culture. England tended to trust them with "ruling" Ireland, and they were quite powerful-eventually turning against England.
>Tyrone
The O'Neill's, an extremely powerful dynasty and probably the most prominent in Irish history. They produced more High Kings than anyone else, and in the 1500s/1600s created a strange early modern Irish army that held its own against larger English armies in the field. If you want a "traditional" Irish kingdom, eat the island with these guys.
>Pale
"The Pale" is England; a highly militarised border region full of English settlers, seized by the Normans when they invaded. Usually the last target of an Ireland campaign.

In EU4 the Ireland strat was usually to work with Scotland to fuck over England, then exploit the need for Scotland/England to land by sea to build up your nation and unite the island. Who knows how it'll work here.
