Man, symbiotes are OP. But I guess nothing really beats what Adam Warren did with The End issue. That was another missed opportunity there. What's with cheesecake/pin-up artists not being able to full in on doing stuff with symbiotes? Marvel sucks but what else is new.
Anyway, if Kafka had to become a superpowered character, I think she should have been She-Venom. Her slowly realizing the symbiote is sentient, using her psychiatry on it, growing empathy towards it, possibly getting with Eddie, and using the bonding power to jump into people's minds or something like that. Seems riper for storytelling.
Also using her to then talk to MJ who in a twist becomes a patient of hers instead of some group who then talks about her trauma with Venom and Kraven would have dove tailed nicely off KLH and Eddie's first appearances. Maybe Kafka, who is growing more affectionate towards the symbiote, tries to win over MJ and confront her trauma and bonds her to it as well but she doesn't have to immediately become a superhero. Maybe Kafka has to give it to her after an injury. But nah, more disappointment from Marvel with Goblin Queen. Ugh.
