Despair Girls shows that he does know there are other ways to write a Danganronpa story and still keep it Hopes Peak related. Instead, we practically just got this formula three times in a row:

>3. double murder, and it just fucking sucks so bad
>4. big mclargehuge dies in a weird scenario
>5. ANTAGONISTIC STUDENT'S WILD RIDE xD, a trusted ally falls on the sword to protect the rest
>6. lol it was Junko, also your memories got fucked with before the start of the game

Even Rain Code follows a lot of these beats, right down to the fourth cases victim being the big muscular person in the cast. If Hundred Line followed this same formula, Moko would die at some point around Day 60 Oh wait...
