It exists, just not a whole lot of it. Binan is probably the premier example. Tokyo mew mew ole also exists, though it's not very notable. Fairy Ranmaru fucking sucks from a story standpoint and bizarrely has nothing to do with Mori Ranmaru I'm pretty sure, but one of the transformation sequences has the character shoving his bulge in the camera so it's got that going for it. I guess because as stated mahou shojo is catered to young girls or perverted men, neither of which want men, and it's kind of difficult to take the premise seriously.
