As a Phaidei fujo, I don't know why schizos here spend so much time rambling over Phaidei and who Phainon is being baited with. No playable character in this game will ever have a confirmed romance, so it's a waste of time and energy to argue over it. Best course of action is to either take what you're given or move to something else, and either way, it's your call on whether or not you engage with portions of the fanbase that push things you don't like. The way I see it, Mihoyo ramming in fujobait and boosting Phaidei searches on Lofter is a pretty clear indicator that they want fujos to imagine Phainon and Mydei in a relationship, and the ship appeals to me, so I oblige. Not my problem that they try omnipandering tactics that sets off yumes.
