As a live service game that's intended to keep you interested for 5+ years, yeah? If all new content can be beaten in the same way without any effort then why would I look forward to new content beyond the rewards? And at that point I might as well just not boot up Arknights for the day and just play something else instead. Arknights has so much potential but just squanders it.

BA is the exact opposite of Arknights. BA has very little depth yet it's endgame content requires you to extract every little ounce of said depth it does have in order to succeed. The margins for error are incredibly small.
Meanwhile Arknights has a ton of depth yet the vast majority of content can be beaten with barely any effort, and usually if a stage is giving you trouble there is likely a squad combination you can bring that basically just beats the stage for you.
