If you have an undergrad-level understanding of physics and chem, and you've studied pure math up until the Henri Poincare era, you've got more than enough wisdom and mental hardware to derive the laws of zero-point energy from first principles. It's not "illegal" or "hidden" to know about how particles work. It's just really fucking difficult to wrap your head around it all, which is why next to nobody is willing to do it unless they're getting paid fat stacks.
