No, I can see the appeal. It's like the people who ship Inko and All Might in MHA. (Since Deku's dad barely existed) MC's single bio-parent getting with their foster-parent is always cute, if they were both good parents to the MC then they'd probably work well together as a pair. Although it might partially be a sappy "Imagine how happy the MC would be if this happened" wish fulfillment thing, it's still sweet to imagine. Pic related.
