That's fair, I just like mobile armours somehow more than mommies, I also forgot putting the Braw Bro in its own category, but it can chare Chalia's, that's fine, whereas
>higher, reasonable ranking otherwise
I was just never tremendously attached to Lalah for whatever reason, nor did we really see much of this universe's Char to warrant that he somehow deserved a happy ending. He's enough of our UC's Char for Chalia to be worried, but a lot of things also happened off-camera which might make him a different kind of person (and we're not shown enough of this for us to care).
>main trio spending time together
You can piece together that at least two people at a time were in the hideout eating snacks and shit, but the fact that we have to intuit and remember that instead of being properly shown that - I don't know whether being told "remember all the fun times we had together" and getting a shitty montage would have been less or more insulting. Likewise what I said about Char.
>Things get mentionned and then never again. Lots of wasted potential.
What a waste of a show!
>hints of who Shuji is
He's from SOME other universe before or outside the Lalah Loop Hell, possibly from UC but who the fuck knows, talking about hints implies that there's any concrete information or writing that was even planned. The last episode felt like it was written by different people for a different show, but that was too exhausting of a point to mention. What a waste, you could have spent the same amount of work making something better with the same amount of runtime. Sure the show would have benefited from 24 episodes, but the sheer hubris it takes to try doing whatever the fuck they intended, in 12 episodes.
