terrible analogy because you obviously know nothing about beekeeping. I worked with my grand-dad who was a beekeeper for 60 years, and sure if you want one hive and nothing else (aka to be a poorfag) then you just let the bees do their thing. If you want to be anything other than a poorfag, you need
>hundreds if not thousands of hives
>multiple trucks and utes to move bees to chase honey flows
>deal with farmers to place hives on their property
>insurance to deal with theft/animals breaking hives
>knowledge of chemicals and pesticides to fumigate hives and prevent infestations without fucking up the health of the rest of your colonies
>industrial extraction equipment and the knowledge of how to maintain it and fabricate parts when something inevitably breaks
>thousands of 40 gallon drums to store extracted honey
>deal with suppliers to transport and sell your honey and wax
and that's not even going into the sheer amount of bullshit you have to comply with to meet health and safety regulations these days.
Even then, 8 out of 10 years you will make zero dollars in profit because you have droughts, floods, or major capital expenses. The two years you do make profit you'll make great money, aka high risk/high reward. Beekeeping is a dying industry because no one likes the risk level, the work is backbreaking, plus the costs of regulation are crippling (in an industry where the actual product is naturally sterile FFS). Pretty much all honey you buy from a shop is fake, it's about 30% chinese honey and 70% sugar water.
>the bees do all the work
I guess I shouldn't expect anything less from a retarded memeflag whose exposure to beekeeping likely consists of watching a youtube short of a flow hive lmao.
