Nintendo isn't suing midjourney, it's Universal and Disney. Also, don't mistake this for an ethical crusade. Disney uses AI in their own ads, and just wants to corner the market. The goal is to ban open source AI from generating their characters, before selling you a phone app to do it themselves.
