I work in a small company and my manager and the CEO aren't very tech savvy. they give me data work to do which is insanely easy if you write a python script for it (or even spend more than 5 minutes learning excel). I get all my work done in hours even though it would take them weeks to do manually. they think I'm some kind of wizard. so I work for about an hour a day and spend the rest of the time browsing Reddit or working on personal projects

all those movies from the 90s are right, though. it destroys my soul and I wish I could do more for the world
