I wouldn't actually mind chorf women - provided they were in line with, and reflected, some aspect of the culture and the species. As an example, absolutely no baseline warrior females, but something like a priestess of Hashut that buffs would be fine.
That being said, I think a unit of widowed chorf women looking to prove themselves and keep their husbands' property could work. Have them be heavily armour and ranged focus, with low leadership and shit melee. Their goal is to survive, so they have no interest in getting into the thick of it. Similarly, a suicide squad of lower-class chorf crones past their breeding years could work as well, as Chorf society wouldn't consider them to have any value.
