Instead of drawing lines exactly as they appear on reference, you draw lines as they relate to each-other in 3d space, find any 2 lines on the reference, then place one line on the canvas arbitrary, then find a way to place the second line, without changing the first line, so that the relationship between the two lines stay the same as the reference
