Honestly I kind of agree. I just started playing through the emulated version and I'm not liking the combat. It feels both clunky and fast. You're moving awkwardly at very high speeds. I'd rather play the charming clunkiness of the souls series, or the geniune speed of other games, like Nioh. The pistol is such a generous parry it's kind of absurd, I imagine it won't be that useful throughout the game, but still.
