I tried fitting that 3D printed dummy Titan 1 in my car's Ram Mount X holder, and sadly it's a no-go. I kind of doubt the Titan 2 will be smaller in any significant way, so it might simply be too big to fit into my life currently.
Like I said, a hypothetical Titan Slim 2 could be the perfect phone for me if it improves on the original the same way the Titan 2 seems to be doing, but for now I think I'm going to be looking at getting something that will tide me over for the next year or two. The most obvious alternative to the Titan Slim would be to get another Samsung Galaxy but the thought of getting another generic glass slab feels kind of defeatist for me even if everything about it is better than the Titan Slim except having no physical keys. I'll mull over my options a bit more but it should be easier now that I know the Titan 2 is probably going to be too big to be a drop-in replacement for my Galaxy S8. The good news is the S8 is so old that even the Titan Slim would be an upgrade for me, except for that damn screen only being 720p.
Another phone I looked at was the latest Sonie Xperia but unfortunately it's getting a bit long in the tooth too, and Sony is going to be outsourcing their phones for the forseeable future because they've become yet another casualty of Apple and Samsung.
