There's like a hundred ways to clear wire, including flattening it or sticking wire cutters on everything. You can even just blow them up.

Ironically they seem to have stopped bothering to deploy them in the field because it exposes you to drones for ages and there's so many way to circumvent them. Including the fact that they don't stop drones at all.
