It's because the game is unoptimized garbage and looks like ass. Even if you have a 5090, the game still looks like shit and fails to hook a lot of newfags because for whatever god damned fucking reason they force lock the game into fallow season for the first arc of the story, guaranteeing that the first impression of the game that players get is a world devoid of color and life. Absolutely fucking retarded decision. That little details might not matter to players in this thread because we probably didn't have any issues clearing all of the content, but the average normalfaggot has the attention span of a gnat and hooking them with that first impression matters a great deal.
